This teacher was teaching the fourth grade when she decided to play a game with the class.

This time she called on Carlos, who replied, "It's a banana." The teacher replied, "No Carlos, it's a squash, but that shows you're thinking." By this time Johnny was frustrated so he raised his and and said, "Teacher, Teacher, I have something down my pants that's long, hard, and has a pink tip." The teacher said, "Johnny, I don't every want to hear you talk like that again." Johnny said, "Teacher, it's only a pencil, BUT THAT SHOWS YOU'RE THINKING."
