A man is sitting on the sofa drinking beer and eating peanuts while watching a boring football game. To pass the time he starts throwing peanuts in the air trying to catch them in his mouth. His wife calls to him, and being distracted, a peanut falls in his ear. The more he trys to get the peanut out, the further in his ear it goes. As he starts getting really anxious and nervous about this nut stuck in his ear, his teenage daughter and her boyfriend arrive at the house. "Daddy what's wrong"? she asks the fidgeting man. He explains about the peanut stuck in his ear. The boyfriend tells him "Sir, I believe I can assist you I am going to stick two fingers up your nose and ask you to blow really hard" The man is desperate by now and says he'll try anything....

And so the young man places his fingers in the man's nose and as he blows, the peanut comes flying out! The young man excuses himself to go wash his hands. The man's wife is very excited by the outcome and asks her husband "Wow honey, that was wonderful-do you think he might be a doctor one day"? "I don't know about that dear, but from the smell of his fingers, I think he'll be our son-in-law first"!
